The Louisville Magic Club had a tremendous turnout for the final performance by hometown friend Lance Burton. The reception following Lance's show included guests from around the Midwest including the 1999 International Brotherhood of Magicians International president Jerry Schnepp and friends from neighboring magic fraternities such as Lexington's magic club.

The club honored Lance by changing it's name to The Okito/Lance Burton Ring 64. Sherrell Nunnelley a long time Louisville magician friend was bestowed with the title of Dean for his many contributions to the magic community. Congratulations to Sherrell!
